Defender's meeting with Nikolaus Schwaerzler

On July 8 RA Human Rights Defender Armen Harutyunyan received Nikolaus Schwaerzler, Executive Board Member of the European Ombudsman Institute.

During meeting a reference was made to the current activities of the RA Human Rights Defender’s  Institution in the sphere of protection and promotion of human rights.

Agenda of the meeting also included discussion on directions of cooperation between the institutions, new tools and mechanisms of overcoming human rights violations, as well as upcoming EOI General Assembly to be held in October 2009 in Florence.
