On
April 25, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit
Manasyan, received Laura Milne, Director of the Armenian Office of the Raoul
Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
Welcoming
the guest, the Defender highly appreciated the effective cooperation
established between the two institutions, highlighting the projects implemented
jointly with the Armenian Office of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human
Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The
Defender presented the priorities of the activity and directions of the work of
the HRDO staff.
The
parties referred to the joint initiatives implemented in 2024, as well as
upcoming projects and potential new avenues for cooperation.
The
Defender emphasized that program collaborations should be based on sectoral
needs and priorities, ensuring targeted and effective partnership.
Laura
Milne expressed gratitude for the warm reception, highly appreciating the
activities of the Defender in guaranteeing human rights․
At
the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and deepen effective
cooperation.
