On 17
March, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit
Manasyan, received Ms. Irina Gasparyan, a member of the Standing Committee on
Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs of the National Assembly of the
Republic of Armenia.
During
the meeting, the discussion focused on certain issues related to the universal
health insurance system.
Emphasizing
the efforts made towards the introduction of the universal health insurance
system, Ms. Anahit Manasyan highlighted that, in this context, the rights of
all individuals must be guaranteed and all emerging problems must be duly
considered and given appropriate solutions.
The
Human Rights Defender reaffirmed the commitment of the Human Rights Defender’s
Office to carry out consistent efforts aimed at addressing the issues raised.
