We
learned with deep sorrow of the passing of Mr. Edgar Khachatryan, Founder and
Director of the Peace Dialogue NGO.
For
many years, he dedicated his professional knowledge and tireless commitment to
the protection of human rights and the development of civil society.
Mr.
Edgar Khachatryan was also a member of the Expert Council for the Protection of
human rights in the Armed forces, adjunct to the Human Rights Defender.
The
Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan and the
Human Rights Defenders Office extend their deepest condolences to Mr. Edgar
Khachatryan’s family, relatives and colleagues on the occasion of this
irreparable loss.
